Sholler Edwards is a sponsor of the Durango Dharma Center’s fundraiser, a one-woman comedic play, “The Secret Lives of the Divine,” written and performed by Sarah Syverson, an award winning playwrite who once studied at Second City.  Syverson plays all 12 characters in the play which takes a humorous yet poignant look at humanity’s search for spiritual growth and meaning from the eyes of an 8-year old child, a 60-something Jewish woman who attends her first Zen Buddhist retreat, a chronic workshop attendee seeking enlightenment, a homeless man who found Christianity, and a Hindu Sprint employee.  It is hilarious – there one more chance to see the show tonight at the Durango Arts Center, $25 tickets at Maria’s or on-line at DurangoDharmaCenter.org,  or $28 at the door – complimentary tea and desserts. Beautiful ceramic mugs for sale to benefit the Dharma Center.
